Transport
The weight of our tiles is approximately 30 kg/m2. Depending on your quantity, we can determine all the appropriate transport:
• Particular vehicle up to 10 m2 (300kg)
• Utility vehicle up to 60 m2 (1800 kg)
• For long distances or larger quantities, a carrier is required.
We can, if necessary, arrange transportation in France, Europe and internationaly.
Our products are packed in cardboard boxes on a pallet under plastic covers and risk nothing.
In order to suit the charm of ancient fabrication methods to the requirements of daily use, the firing temperature is raised to 1120 ° C minimum, thanks to the quality of the clay, providing our products with exceptionally easy care in everyday life.
That is why we can use them in every rooms: kitchen, shower, bed roomm, bathroom, interior, exterior.
Unsealed tiles can obviously look super-charming, but if laid in a kitchen they can quickly become stained and grubby with general day-to-day use, spills (wine or olive oil, invariably…) and wear. That is why we advise you to use a natural sealant sold in our factory.

This Sealer, bonds to the tiles and applies a protective, hard wearing and extremely durable natural finish, enhances natural colours, and provides a protective coating, making the surface less vulnerable to staining.
It allows the tiles to breathe naturally and assists in keeping the surface, free from daily dirt and grease build up, making cleaning and maintenance considerably easier.
Sealing and maintaining our tiles
Tile laying
Successful implementation requires careful installation. If this is achievable by a non-professional, you should however have good provisions for building work.
Tiles can be laid down on screed mortar (which is little more than professional), or whith adhesive on existing screed or existing floors. We will be able to provide, all necessary information on request.
However, we can point out the following:
• Possibility of installation on existing tiles if it is well sealed.
• Terracotta gives excellent results on underfloor heating.
• We encourage a light color joint, on average 7mm.
