To enhance the insulating and structural characteristics of the MA TERRE PREMIERE topcoat and to give a natural and rustic traditional looking walls Add one or two dry linen glitter pots for one finishing clay plaster bucket.
Humidity and clay: Our clay plasters work beautifully in a bathroom with a shower. Our plasters naturally absorb moisture from the air and later releases it back as the air dries out (humidity buffering).
The plaster will be fine everywhere except inside the shower unit where it will be exposed to water contact continuously
Areas above the shower, near the shower, or the backsplash behind the sink are fine when plastered with our plasters.
If the wall is damage by a shock or dirt the walls can be cleaned and repaired by using a damp tile sponge to remove a micro-layer of material from the surface. The damaged area should return to normal after doing this small sponging step.

The primer MA TERRE PREMIERE ® is a sub- layer bonding based quartz sand, essential before the implementation of finishing coatings on a smooth surface .
This primer of very high quality both environmental (solvent , VOC and formaldehyde ) that technique is easy to apply on plaster support, gypsum board, mineral plasters , mineral paint , concrete or chipboard .
Ready to use .

CLAY PLASTER FINISHES ( Top coat )
Our clay plasters finishes
-Mix-your bucket top coating clay plaster with 4 liters of water minimum. Adjust water depending on the desired creaminess. Let stand 30 minutes then re-mix. The mixing can be done by hand or with an electric mixer.
- Apply the plaster with the stainless steel trowel in a thickness of 2-3 mm. Equalize thickness.
Clay is a 100% natural product, it may contain a few small grains that can be simply removed with your finger when applying.
- After partial drying (The plaster is no longer sticky) Compress the plaster with the plastic trowel to assure a well bonded surface by compacting the aggregates in the clay together as one surface. and let dry for a few days depending on the ambient temperature.
Apply with a paint roller or a brush the natural sand primer in one layer.
Let it dry.

The plaster can be left rawed or reworked to get scratched aspect, trowel, smooth or tight, depending on the decorative effect you like.

Materials and tools :
Any smooth surface such as plaster, plasterboard, mineral plasters, mineral paint, concrete or chipboard, "Fermacell" cellular concrete after application of the natural sand primer MA TERRE PREMIERE ®.
Clay plasters must be applied over solid, well-bonded wall surfaces.
